Product Owner

Job Description

As a Product Owner at iVoiceUp, you will be a key driver in shaping the evolution of our innovative whistleblowing platform. You will serve as the bridge between our business vision, customer needs, and the development team, ensuring the delivery of features that maximize value for our users and align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define, communicate, and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for iVoiceUp, ensuring it aligns with the company’s overall objectives and market trends.
  • Backlog Management: Own and meticulously manage the product backlog, prioritizing features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility. This includes creating clear and concise epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders (internal teams like Tech, marketing, sales, customer success, and external customers), gathering requirements, validating ideas, and providing regular updates on product progress.
  • Agile Team Facilitation: Actively participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the development team has a clear understanding of priorities and goals.
  • User & Market Understanding: Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements, address pain points, and drive innovation within the whistleblowing and compliance space.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor key product performance metrics (e.g., user engagement, retention, conversion rates, customer satisfaction) and leverage data-driven insights to inform product decisions and identify areas for optimization.
  • Release Management: Oversee the release process, ensuring high-quality standards are met and new features or updates are optimally scheduled and communicated.
  • Cross-functional Alignment: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the product development process, seeking ways to enhance efficiency, quality, and user experience.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Proven experience ( 3+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role in a SaaS environment, preferably within B2B software, compliance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs effectively.
  • Track record of successfully delivering high-quality software products.

Technical Acumen:

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear and actionable tasks for development teams.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and act on data.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of user needs and pain points.
  • Ability to connect product initiatives to overall business objectives and market opportunities.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or a related field. Product Owner certifications (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) are a significant plus.
